Wow! This was a great book! I read "Can You Survive the Antarctic" which had three story paths to survive. In this book you can be involved in the story, you can choose what to do and what happens. I started on Race to the Pole, which was about Roald Amudsen racing Robert Falcon Scott to the South Pole. I had three different exploration stories on this path and I didn't survive in all of them! That's the fun of this book, you get to choose your own adventure! You can read the book and get a different story each time, although they are all based in the Antarctic. This is a fun fiction book with some facts and some pictures. I'd recommend this book to people who like adventure stories and like to choose their own adventure.

The book I read was "Can You Survive Antarctica." This book has lots of paths and adventures. for most of the paths it gives you a couple of choices. For example, the choices are: we can give up, keep on going, or take a break from our task. I mainly chose to keep on going. My favorite path was where I had to lead a group of woman through the Antarctic. It was challenging I had to make so many risky choices. One of the main problems was while we were walking in the freezing snow, I saw one of the group members collapse to the ground. She had sprained her ankle. One of the choices was to keep on going or stop for the night. I chose stop for the night. I chose to stop for the night because she was in pain and she could not walk. The best thing I liked about this book was that we got to choose our own pathways and every pathway was an adventure.

I was reading "can you survive the jungle". I liked this book because I liked the lead about jumping out of an airplane. Instantly I was part of the adventure.
I had to make a decision about where to go for the adventure. I chose to take off in search of rescue. This lead me to surviving. But I had to face dangerous predators along the way. I survived by making a fire to kill dangerous organisms in my water. I made this chose because I did not want to get sick and die. With every adventure I chose I survived.
But in one adventure I did not.

The book I am reading is called storm chasing. This is a great book. I like this book because you can pick what you want your story to sound like. You get to personalize your own story. And the cool thing about this book is that every ending is different so you can keep reading and reading this book over and over because it will not be the same ending every time you read it. Some of the decisions I had to make took a lot of thinking. For example, when they said will you warn your brother to come home from camping with his friends before the tornado hits. Or will you help your grandma find her cat and go live with the police for a day because she lives in a motor home and that is not safe when there is a tornado.

The book I read was called "Can You Survive the Jungle?" It was great! The book allowed me to make choices as I was reading that impacted the outcome of the story. I was able to survive the jungle without any injuries! The first choice I made was to wait for a rescue search because I thought there was a good chance that they would find me. My second choice was to follow my own path, because I trust my sense of direction heavily and not climb to high places or go in streams so as to avoid my predators. I also built a raft to use in case I did have to go down rapids or into streams. I encountered many predators such as black caimans, electric eels and Bala ants. I really enjoyed this book and how the author made the book interactive, I felt like I was really living through the situations in the story!
