I liked this book because it was set in Medieval times. My favorite part was when Sam fought the black knight. I would recommend this book to people who like adventure and fantasy books.

The Time Warp Trio: Knights of the Kitchen Table was awesome. There were so many good parts that it made me keep reading and reading! This book is about three kids named Joe, Fred and Sam. One day Joe had a birthday and invited Fred and Sam over. After opening presents the three boys found that there was one more present. It had black and gold wrapping paper on it. It was from Joe’s magician uncle. He opened it and it was a book. It was a navy blue color and had silver designs on it. In the inside there was a picture of a black night on a horse. Then all the sudden mist surrounded the three boys and then….. Well, I can’t tell you too much but doesn’t that sound like a great book already? I recommend this book BIG time. You should read it.

Man this is a great book!! The main characters in this book are Joe, Fred and Sam. At the beginning at Joe's birthday party Joe's Uncle gave him a magic book, mind you, he is a magician. There were only three boys at the party and Joe opened the book and it showed a black knight on a horse. One of the boys said, "Man, wouldn't it be great to see knights and all of that stuff for real." All of a sudden a mist filled the room and the three boys floated back in time. The book tells of their experiences in Medieval times, which was really cool. My favorite events were when the boys fight the black knight and the ending, which I can't give away! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes to travel back in time and likes to read books of adventure.

In the Time Warp Trio, there were lots of exciting moments that happened in the story. I loved the beginning when it was Joe's birthday party. Joe opened a present that was a book, and it was a magic book. Joe and the other main characters, Fred and Sam, opened the book and they went back in time! They ended up by the Knights of the Round Table. My other favorite part was when the boys fought a giant named Bleob. It was very funny because the giant was really smelly and silly. I would recommend this book to kids that like a little bit of exciting violence and action, and stories that make you laugh. This book is not just for boys. I'm a girl and I really liked it!

The Time Warp Trio by Jon Scieszka is an awesome book! It is about three boys, Fred, Joe and Sam, that travel back in time using a magic book that Joe's uncle gave to him for his birthday. I really enjoyed the dragon named Smog and the giant named Bleob. My favorite part of the book is when they fight each other, but I can't tell you how that ends or it will ruin it for you! Another part that I love was when Fred, Joe and Sam were being attacked by the black knight and Fred kept yelling "strike one! strike two! strike three! " as the angry black knight kept trying to kill them with his lance. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes humorous fantasy books. It was really funny!

The Time Warp Trio is a great book! The setting is really cool when it's in medieval times. My favorite character is Sam, it is funny when he tricks Bleob the giant. I also think it was really funny when Bleob and Smog were fighting. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Adventure and Fantasy. This book was awesome!

"The Time Warp Trio: Me Oh Maya" is about three boys named Joe, Fred, and Sam, (just like the first book). The boys were playing a ball game similar to basketball, against the mean high priest, Kakapupahed. If they lost, they would get their heads cut off! My favorite part was when Sam was making the winning shot. Two of Kakapupahed's players hurt Sam, but he made the winning shot anyway!!! I would strongly recommend this outstanding book to kids who like action, humor and excitement!!!!

This is the second book I've read in the Time Warp Trio series. This one was titled "Me Oh Maya" and I loved it as well as the first one. It has the same three main characters, Joe, Fred and Sam. This time they use the same book that Joe got for his birthday from his uncle to travel back to the time of the Mayans. My favorite characters were Kakapupahed and Jun. It was awesome when Joe, Fred and Sam challenged Kakapupahed to a Mayan basketball game but I can't say how that ends....you'll have to read it on your own to find out what happens. I also liked the part where Jun saved Joe, Fred and Sam from certain death (against the Jaguars!) I loved the ending of this book and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes adventure.

This book was so funny! It was about three boys who got a book that was magic. When they made a wish they opened up the book. A green mist filled the air and instead of their house they were at king Arthur's castle. That's where everything changes. They were fighting creatures and more! Before you know it... Wait I can't tell you the ending you have to read it for yourself. Just so you know this can also be a girl's book. Hope you read it!

Sleepy Hollow was a great book. I would recommend this book to anyone. The main characters’ in this book are Katrina Van Tassel, the headless horseman and Ichabod Crane. My favorite part of this book was when Ichabod Crane and his neighbors had a bon fire and told ghost stories. I liked this part because the words he/she used made me feel like I was at the bon fire. For example the words crackle & tingle. This part of the book made me feel warm inside. Read this book to find out more about it. Bailey

How Does a Waterfall Become Electricity was such a great book! I never thought that a waterfall could turn in to electricity. In this book there were so many interesting facts like why they put a turbine generator in a dam, because the water spins the turbine and it connects to the power lines.Thats how a waterfall turns into electricity.Jessie.
